Thread

We are only holding on by a thread,
Vulnerable of falling down,
Where security is minimal,
Where survival is vital,
Comfort compromised,
And everything is bleak.

But we tend to forget,
We are together,
Facing our demons,
Of falling and fear,
So even if it's a thread,
Or a rigid bark we're clinging on,
We still remain unshattered ,
For our destiny is not to fall,
But to hold on together.
