Catching Sunrise at Penang Hill!

Jump for joy!

The last time I went to Penang Hill was back in 2011 during the holiday after SPM with secondary schoolmates to have a look plainly due to some of my friends as a Penangites never been to Penang Hill. We only stay there for an hour or two cause still nothing much over there and renovation went on at most of the parts.

I kept seeing Mel and Xuan posted on Instagram nice photos they took at Penang Hill this few months, either sunrise or at night view. So after months of annoying them, finally Xuan brought me to view and take photos of the sunrise up there!

In order to make it for sunrise, we reached there around 6am to take the first train up at 6.30am. Don't miss the first train up or you will miss the beautiful sunrise. 

Once we reached the top, quickly find a spot and start setting up our camera and tripod to snap! *Don't forget to bring your tripod along for long shutter if you have one, cause it's really useful! You will know why later for another reason too!:P* It's part of the Pearl of the Orient before the sky starts to turn bright and the sunrise! Can you spot the Penang Bridge? :D

It's been so long since I wake up before sunrise. Woke up at 5am just to see the egg yolk and take lots of nice photos, definitely worth it. :)

Don't forget to estimate your time you gonna be up there and put some parking coupons. We got saman cause we completely forgot about the parking coupons and never expect to stay that late up there!

JS Fashion Square @ Prangin Mall Penang

Who doesn't love buying or getting new clothes? Which girl doesn't like shopping? Many thanks to JS Fashion Square, I was given an opportunity to do a fashion review at their Prangin Mall outlet during my self-declared Raya break in Penang. The outlet is located at the 4th floor of Prangin Mall, which was once a popular bookstore.

As you can see, the outlet is huge. Guess what? Jefferson sponsors men apparel for local TV channels such as RTM, TV3, 8TV & TV9, and providing consignment for men accessories such as tie, belt, etc whilst on the other end, they have JS Fashion Square for the ladies. The price of the clothes there are reasonable and affordable too!

I have tried out a few different sets of outfits. I purposely chose some clothes that beyond my not-so-girly style. More ladylike and girly this time specially for this review. Pretty Nicole was my partner that day. She helped me to pick some of the apparels and taught me in posing, not forgetting that being my personal photographer that day.  

1st : Casual

I tried on a floral sleeveless top and a black pencil skirt here. I kind of start to like this style. It is very comfy and girly which definitively suitable to hang out, have a date at a cafe with my friends or family. 

2nd : Smart Casual

I wore a studded white peplum top and a floral shorts, styled by Nicole. Matched it with a pair of red strips high heels which makes me looks more feminine and smart for events.

3rd : Formal

"When a little black dress is right, there is nothing else to wear in its place."

A little black dress that makes me look so ladylike especially with a pair of high heels. Looks pretty simple yet classy and elegant.

A Whole New Year

Yo, pretties and handsome! How have you been?

My 3 weeks semester break just ended. Year 1 officially ended. I really enjoyed myself to the fullest back in Penang. As usual, I went out nearly everyday during the 3 weeks break :P. Although car broke down in the middle of my sem break, glad that I have awesome friends that pamper me and brought me out to satisfy my craving, to movies, to gym then swim and to round Penang Island just for fun *and waste petrol*. Not to forget my family that will bring me all the way to balik pulau just for laksa and try their best to bring me to get good food, my dear brother that willing to share car with me or drop me to where I wanna go, and my sister that allows me to annoy her then became my photographer. :D

I wanted to update my blog at least once a week, but sadly the Internet was down from the second week of my sem break. The whole area's house phone wasn't working too :(. I managed to survive through life without Internet for one week plus, watched all 5 Final Destination, finished 2 Chinese novels, 1 English book and spent an evening to prepare Spaghetti for my family. Quite productive isn't it? :D

Semester breaks ended, I am now a Year 2 student. I was quite happy that I passed all my subjects for last semester, initially I thought I will fail 2 subjects. Oh well, I blame myself for slacking too much last semester. I was too playful. I played games, daydream, talk in class. I didn't do my tutorial question and did very last minute revision before final. So, I ended up kind of went blank during exam :/. It's my fault. Camy, please put more effort and concentrate in your following semesters!!!

A Date at The Alley Cafe!

Have a date with my lesbian partner(her boyf so gonna kill me if he read this :O) on the 2nd day of 2014 before she went back to KL for her new sem. If you follow my blog, you probably see her till sien dy :P. Missing the small girl anyway, I don't remember where she went that day :O.

Cafe in Penang is the best place to chill and crap all day long with friends. Oh, imma homesick again! Can't wait for Sem break! 1 more week to go! :D
