Ivory CNY Charity Concert 2015

Ivory CNY Charity Concert will be held on the 4th day of CNY, Feb 22. The concert will start at 8pm at Penang Times Square.

This concert is organized by Ivory Properties Group Berhad. It is supported by Penang Press Club and Persatuan Wartawan dan Jurugambar Media Cina Pulau Pinang and The Star as the media partner.

Ivory Properties Group Berhad managed to collect RM20,000 during their funds raising to rebuild homes for the east coast flood victims, which their initial target was RM15,000 according to the executive director and Ivorycares president Datuk Ooi Chin Loo. With the help of the concert, they hope to increase their target to RM25,000.

Performers for the Ivory CNY Charity Concert include Worldwide Platinum Records' North American chart toppers Ovaload and Cash Band. Former 988 FM radio station DJ Luke Loke will be performing selected tracks from his newly released Chinese New Year album 'Feat-ting Room'. Worldwide Platinum Records artistes Mickey, Satrina, Michelle and Max Ku who are featured in the 'Feat-ting Room' album will join the performance of DJ Luke Loke!

Jeffrey Ooi, the first runner-up for Astro Classic Golden Melody Singing Competition 2008 will be emceeing the concert with the master of ceremony Corrylincoln from Penang Times Square. Satrina can't wait to perform her new song 'Ketakutan' on that day too.

Besides, Kenya's Sarakasi dancers-cum-acrobats are invited to perform the mind-blowing elaborate tribal and modern dances as well as gymnastic show. Men On Heels and GoGoGirls will dance to pop tunes and funky beats during the show.

Ticket redemption : 

1. Public can redeem 2 tickets by cutting out the Ivory CNY Charity Concert advertisement each on The Star, Kwong Wah Yit Poh, Nanyang Siang Pau and bring the event banner advertisement to any of the 3 newspapers' office for redemption. The offices are located at, The Star - Star Northern Hub in Bayan Lepas, Kwong Wah Yit Poh Penang headquarters in Persgrave Street or irs regional offices in Bayan Baru, Bukit Mertajam and Butterworth, and Nanyang Siang Pau Penang office in Weld Quay.

2. Spend more than RM30 in a single receipt in Penang Times Square may also redeem 2 tickets at Penang Times Square information counter.

3. 2 VIP tickets will be given for those who donate RM100.

4. Only 2 tickets can be redeemed per person on a first come, first served basis.

Wacoal Second Boutique Grand Opening @ Empire Shopping Gallery, Subang Jaya

Thanks to Wacoal, I was invited to witness the grand opening event of its second free-standing boutique in Malaysia at Empire Shopping Gallery, Subang Jaya.

Daphne and I were there an hour earlier, therefore we get to avoid the crowd and window shop at the store. The staffs there were friendly and introduced us some of their lingerie collection. I got attracted by the parfage collection, they look so pretty and comfy!

This claw vending machine for the guests to win some prizes. Gosh, i like this this mini claw vending machine cause is way too cute! I manage to get a very pretty lingerie bag with this. :D

The photographer was so nice that offer us some Polaroids shots of Daphne and I.

Most importantly, we were given a chance to meet Miss World Malaysia 2013, Ms Melinder Kaur Bhullar and an exclusive first glimpse of the 20 finalists of Miss World Malaysia 2014. They all look so gorgeous! We got to interact with the Miss World Malaysia and there was a Q&A sessions where guests can win some prizes when they manage to answer the questions correctly.

Time Out Penang Food & Beverage Guide Launch @ Gurney Paragon Mall Penang

Hunza Group Executive Director, Ms Khor Tze Ming, Penang State Exco for Tourism Development, YB Danny Law, and Mongoose Publishing Chief Content Office, Mr Matt Bellotti. 

Back in May, I was invited to St.Jo's Level 1 at Gurney Paragon Mall to witness the official launching of Time Out Penang Food and Beverage Guide.

If you are the kind of person that always have no idea of where to have your lunch or dinner, or to have high tea with your friend at Gurney Paragon Mall, here's a good news for you! You need not worry anymore as Gurney Paragon Mall has just published their first ever comprehensive food and beverage guide.

The launching ceremony was officiated by the Penang State Exco For Tourism Development, YB Danny Law, Hunza Group Executive Director, Ms. Khor Tze Ming, Mongoose Publishing Chief Content Officer, Mr. Matt Bellotti, with the witnesses by Gurney Paragon Mall's F&B outlets' owners and representatives, food bloggers and the media.

Gurney Paragon Mall's food and beverage guide covers all the food and beverage outlets in the mall, from the world-renowned franchise brand like TGI Friday's, Starbucks to cosmopolitan local outlets such as Ben's ad Brussels Beer Cafe. The booklet is pocket size and it's user-friendly. You can get information such as outlets' business hours, contact numbers, websites and even the price rating in the guide.

Every entry has been reviewed by the Time Out team to present the most comprehensive guide possible to the food and beverage treats at Gurney Paragon Mall.

On the same day, Time Out Penang 2014/15 annual magazine is also being launched and is now opened for sale to the public. The magazine provides an array of information such as the best place to shop in Penang, the best heritage sites, the best education institutions and include all the best food you can find in Penang!

There was a Penang Laksa Eating Competition, followed by Penang Laksa Cooking Competition after the launching of the food and beverage guide. Each contestant had to finish a bowl of 1kg Laksa as fast as they could in order to win the grand prize!

I find that the Gurney Paragon Mall's food and beverage guide and the Time Out Penang annual magazine are very useful to me. I can just look through both the guide and magazine when I am out of idea of where to hang out with my friends or as a tour guide when I friends travel in Penang.

New Year Eve Party 2013!

#1 New Year Eve Party 2013 with my high schoolmates!

Another super duper postponed post :O. Spent the last day of my 2013 and first day of 2014 with those crazy peeps. It was an extremely fun night especially when everyone got high during midnight. We planned for a sleepover party before everyone get back to different places for studies and cause it was too late for us to plan for a trip in 2014. Genting trip with them back in 2013.
